Merakia, is what Greeks use to describe doing something in the manner that Millennials claim to be doing at whatever it is they call "work. That is with soul, creativity, and love. However the Greeks mean it, while the Millennials are sucking the soma of a technarati uber-class that rakes in the dough while convincing their workers that seltzer is free if you work 80 hour weeks.

But this has little to do with what Merakia does, which grills meats or cooks them on spits int he Greek Psistaria style. The owners Andreas and Renee Typaldos, work with Tassos Ballas to provide a menu that is authentic and fresh.
