While you don’t need a ticket to enter the Statue of Liberty Museum or Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration, tickets are required to board ferries to Liberty and Ellis Islands. All ferry ticketing is run through Statue Cruises, which is the only vendor authorized to provide tickets and transportation to Liberty and Ellis Islands. No other ferry company can give you access to the Islands. Arrive to Ferry Service as early as possible, lines tend to be long in good weather! Admission And Tickets

Ferry Fees are tiered, please follow ticket link:
Adults (ages 13 years & older): $18.50 - $21.50
Senior Citizens (ages 62 & over): $14.00 - $17.00
Children (ages 4 through 12): $9.00 -
Infants 3 and under: Free
Note: These rates are the price for the round trip ferry ride to the island. The ferry ticket includes entrance to Ellis Island. National Park Service passes DO NOT cover the price of the ferry ticket.

This Week's Hours

Access to Liberty and Ellis Islands is by Statue Cruises ferries only. Tickets are sold by type, date, and time at statuecruises.com. The first ferry departs at 8:30 am and the last departs at either 3:30pm or 5:00pm depending on season. Once on the island you can stay until the last ferry departs, which changes seasonally. The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island are open every day except December 25, weather permitting. Be aware that Hard Hat tickets usually sell out in advance.

Please allow for ferry transportation time in your schedule. With lines and the 15 minute ride, it may take an hour to an hour and a half to reach Ellis Island.
