Oscar Hammerstein II uses the Georges Bizet's Carmen as inspiration for the story of Carmen Jones, a parachute maker working in the midst of the Second World War. Carmen endures her own battles involving an airman and a boxer.

This is the first major New York revival since its debut 75 years ago!

Anika Noni Rose stars as Carmen Jones. Clifton Duncan, Husky Miller, Erica Dorfler, Andrea Jones-Sojola, Lindsay Roberts, Justin Keyes, Soara-Joye Ross, Lawrence E. Street and Tramell Tillman round out the cast.
